A Message from the FCYR President

Welcome to the official website of the Frederick County chapter of the Maryland Young Republicans. This is an exciting time to be part of the FCYRs, with an important election for the Republican Party to win in November. President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, Governor Robert Ehrlich, Lt. Governor Michael Steele, Maryland Republican Party Chairman John Kane, Congressman Roscoe Bartlett, Senator Alex Mooney, Frederick County Republican Party Chairman Chuck Jenkins, and Maryland Young Republicans' President Nicolee Ambrose, call on you to be the future leaders of the Republican Party. The Frederick County Young Republicans are a social and political club dedicated to furthering the Republican cause in Frederick County and Maryland. With the historic election of Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr., Republicans in Maryland are welcoming a new era for the Party and State government. We have a bright year ahead and we need to continue the momentum to support the local and State Party organizations.

If you would like to join the FCYRs, please complete the registration form and mail it with your annual dues of $20 or come to one of our monthly meetings or Happy Hours to sign up in person. We meet the first Wednesday of each month for Happy Hour at alternating locations (posted on the Calendar page) and we hold a monthly meeting every second Tuesday at Belles' Sports Bar & Grill in Frederick. Please check the Calendar page on a regular basis for meetings, Happy Hours, and invitations to special events. Registered Maryland Republicans ages 18 to 40 can sign up online to be a full member of the FCYRs. We also welcome other Republicans to sign up as Associate Members and be an active part of our club.
